May 13, 2011 Dear Pastor and Church, “And when they were come, and had gathered the church together, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.” Acts 14:27. Four years ago, in May 2007, we started our current term here on Taiwan. During that time God has enabled us start the Victory Baptist Church in Hua Lien and leave it with a Chinese national, Jeremiah. We will start our furlough on June 28th to report to all of the churches. On April 18th while on visitation with a Chinese missionary friend from Hong Kong, Bro. Shieh, or Bill, we led Mr. Linn, 42 years old, to Christ. It is also a blessing that God has led Bro. Shieh to return to Taiwan as a missionary. The Lord gave us two more converts through the tract ministry. The first one was also named Linn that lives in a city south of Hua Lien called Ruey Suey. The other one is a lady that Sherry had given a tract too, Miss. Peng, 29 years old, living in a city called Yue Li. Sherry and I have already traveled to Ruey Suey to visit Mr. Linn and soon we will travel to Yue Li to visit Miss Peng. On May 7th while traveling on a train I was able to lead Mr. Xu, 34 years old, to Christ. We talked over 2 hours on various Bible subjects before he got saved. Also, after Sunday morning services on May 1st Mr. Yeh, 32 years old, got saved. The message that morning was on Psalms 111:1-10 and the title was, “The Works of the Lord are Great.” Since that time Mr. Yeh has come to church every Sunday. Because of your prayers and faithful support God has enabled us to see these precious Chinese souls saved here on Taiwan. May God bless you all.
